But she soon discovered how Western society is totally unprepared for death. She was amazed by the little understanding that widowed men and women, in general, receive.<br \/>\nMost people feel uncomfortable to be around a person that has just suffered an important loss.  Not because they do not care, but for the simple reason that they do not know what to say or how to behave.<br \/>\nAnd when you first become a widow, you have no idea of what to expect either. Your whole life has just turned around, sometimes without as much as a warning.
